The Anaerobic Threshold
The anaerobic threshold is we want that work to be its greatest volume, because that's the greatest stimulant. But that work also needs to be non-continuous. So it's like run a mile and then takes 90 seconds break versus the aerobic threshold, which is a little lower. That can be done as continuous, sure. And programs like say, Dylinger and Oregon back in the 70s and 80s took advantage of this.
