Baboons are even more subtle than just rank. They have personality and you can be a high ranking baboon and personality differences. If your worst rival sneezing a hundred yards away is seen as a major provocation, you're going to have much higher court of point levels. And in fact, often you may have higher glucorticoid cortisol levels than if you're number 10 or number 20 in the hierarchy.
