How to Set a Timer for Your Brain

If you know specifically what you are expecting your brain to focus on, then you have a much better shot at success. I always use a timer because without it, things don't have aa finality to them. The other thing that i do to shut off my brain, especially when i'm trying to be creative or solve things, i talk out loud to myself. When you're not talking, when you're supposed to be listening, that's when your mind goes sa, woosh. You're in the middle of thinking what you're saying and doing. So your brain, your brain's a little sidelined.
