Is Metformin Affecting Aging?

There's been some observational research to suggest that Metformin may increase lifespan. There are two studies now looking at this, and they kind of went opposite directions. I think for people who have prediabetes or some challenge with glucose homeostasis, it might make sense to go on Metformin as a preventative until you get your glucose homeostatic under control. But given where we have right now with the data we have in preclinical literature, there's no comparison between Metformin and Rapamycin.
