The German Admiral Tells the British to Give the HMS Globe Warm Their Highest Honor

There was a really famous anecdote this uh American plane was a bomber was damaged badly and it was making its way back across the channel. It got intercepted by a German air German fighter and they were like well i guess we're about to die now because our planes fucked up we can't escape. After the war they just get like the pile of that plane found the found the German and like they commiserated about the war. I've never heard a story like that from from the pacific war and like in in any branch service or anything  - you have to have thousands or hundreds or thousands of years like military tradition plant to happen.
