The UK's Housing Market Is Changing
According to the nationwide house price index, UK house prices are around 4% lower than their peak in August 2022. About 30% own their accommodation with a mortgage or a loan or shared ownership. And about a fifth rented and just under a fifth were in the social rented sector. The rental market as well will be interest rate sensitive.
