The Implications of Marking Scaffolds in Assessment Tasks

Students are taught how to break tasks down into bite sized doable bits and so that also eases the cognitive burden as they work through the task. Students establish their own in built scaffolds is not only a nice way to actually work through a task but also gain efficacy through the task as they do it. Nisa: The idea of presenting worked examples runs counter to everything that assessment task set up for primary school students. She says male students are less likely to understand the implications of the marking scaffold than female students. "It's been nearly 20 years since I've taught girls so I'm not sure whether this holds true for girls as well"
