Is the Anti Productivity Movement Getting Something Wrong?
The anti productivity movement argues that the drive to do productive activity outside of the context of work is in itself negative. It's there to put inside this false consciousness of work, and therefore will be more willing when it comes time to clock in at the factory. The argument has been around since the nineteenth century but was recently revitalized by recent polemics.
