The Importance of Breakfast

There is some evidence that if you miss breakfast through perhaps being disorganized, the chances are you may eat more in the context of the day. If you deliberately miss it as part of a calorie reduction protocol, and then eat in a standardized way for the rest of the day, there could be an effect on weight management. But I've not seen any real evidence that it's the most important meal of the day unless you take it literally as meaning you've got to break the fast. And then of course, it's allyou die. So there's lots of it depends on that one.
