How to Make a Game Based on a Real World System
At its heart, that game is just a supply and demand kind of game about buying and then selling commodities. And so that's where it came from was me wanting to try to model this real world system that I saw. People still get it because it is still drawing from a real life thing. Even if you never told anybody, hey, this is actually based on farmer's market, farmer's markets, tomato selling vendors,. You don't have to say that, but people will get it because they've experienced that kind of thing.
