Bookening is attempts to understand literature and put it in its place. The oldest literary criticism you can go all the way back to the Greeks with Aristotle and Plato. We are going to start by tracing the history of everything before the 20th century. By the end of these episodes, you will know what structuralism is. You will know about semiotics. And we just want to give you a foundational understanding of all that stuff so that you don't have to be intimidated by it. That's right. Death of the podcaster.
