The Importance of Preference in the Future
It seems like a lot of things function better when the people involved have some preference for it to be that way. And I think regardless of the exact details of what happens in the future, it seems like a reasonable bet that the agents that are involved will think this is a reasonable way for things to be. But there's a further question of whether like at some prior time, anyone chose for things to develop in that direction.
