Onoda's Story
Hyo Onoda was the last known Japanese holdout from World War II. He has spent more than half of his life in the jungles of Lubang, Philippines. The Philippine government drew up new flyers and spread them out across the jungle. In 1972, both the Japanese and Philippine governments sent search parties to look for him. They found nothing.
