The Importance of Tipping
I worked at a restaurant called Rosemary's for four years in the West Village. It was an older money restaurant, which is very much like pretty tight with cash even though they're all very wealthy. Then I worked at a hotel for a year or for like six months, which was just like a very different experience. And then obviously tipping during the pandemic was a whole different ball game. Like trying to remember it exactly is a little bit like digging into like trauma memory memories.
