More muscle is a healthier body. More muscle actually improves your cardo vascular health and so much more. The more muscle you can add to your frame, the more easy you will be able to lean down,. keep your heart healthier and avoid things like a bone fracture as you age. It isn't necessary for overall health to do a bunch of extra, dedicated, intense cardio sprinkling in some higher intensity workouts. Moderate intensity exercise alsop metochondial function, but maybe not as much as the higher intensity exercise does at first.
