Is There a Disconnect Between Wine and Food Products?

Wine is a food product, just the way we look at cheeses or produce. There's a real disconnect between wine and from whence it comes. Legislation is always a dangerous, slippery slope. I'd like to see more understanding of what's so wrong with peace, love. And maybe a wider, wider, throw more, more comprehension that wine is an art form.
