Once it's at about 80 milligrams a deciliter or lower, you don't see any buildup of that fatty plaque in the artery. And ultimately, that obstruction of blood flow can lead to a heart attack or a stroke. The average person at 120 to 130 cardiovascular disease being the number one cause of death.
