The Importance of the People Around You

The most important part of one's environment is the other living, breathing creatures around you. While animals are important, I think that humans perhaps are more important in shaping one's identity. The people that you surround yourself are absolutely critical. Our emotions are commutagious, our motivations are contagious. You put yourself around people that are internally driven and you're more likely to be internally driven; you surrounding yourself with cheaters, you're morelikely to cheat. If you surround yourself with ethical people, you'reMore likely to be ethical. This isn't always possible. But when you can choose, it's important to make this choice really intentionally and thoughtfully.
