The Cross-Pollination of the Value Chain

A lot of D2C brands are saying, how can we further de-risk our business and our dependence on a very high-cack D2C channel where we have to own all of the customer engagement? So I'm seeing cross-pollination happening in both directions. What's happening is the middle is getting all messed up. And what I'd say is not messed up, just it's in a state of flux. You've got manufacturers going direct; you've got Amazon selling vertical marketplaces that haven't invested in digital
