Liposomes are basically small, little tiny cells. They're actually made up of the same cell membrane, phospholipids. If you encapsulate a nutrient with that, what happens is it protects that nutrient getting degraded in the gut. There's a vitamin C expert who says that six grams of liposomal vitamin C is almost kind of like 50 grams of vitamin C IV.
