Is There a Dip in Estrogen After Ovulation?

After ovulation, progesterone is responsible for a lot of the differences and perturbances that we see in metabolism and sleep. Progesterone also decreases vagal tone. It's harder to get into really good REM sleep and slow wave sleep. From a nutrition standpoint, if we're going to do intensity during this time frame, we need to supply additional carbohydrate.
