Leonardo Da Vinci: A Childlike Search for Love and Acceptance

Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1452, an illegitimate son from a prosperous family of notaries. His father never even attempted to appear before a local magistrate and present a petition to legitimate his son. Leonardo traveled far and wide in his career, looking for the financial support and artistic freedom he thought would make him whole. He devotedly served his first mentor Andrea Del Baroquio for more than 11 years until Leonardo was 25.
