Is There a Connection Between Beans and Gas?
In order to promote bean consumption, you're going to need to address the elephant in the room, the stinky elephant. A recent study found that half of people who ate pinto or navy beans reported significantly increased flatulence. The other big finding is that like 90 % of the subjects reported their gas went back to normal after three or four weeks. Most people's bodies adjust to an increase in dietary olegosacerites after about a month of eating those extra beans every single day.
