In 2008, people couldn't pay the loans they'd taken to finance real estate in Dubai. The banks were in an awkward position where they had financed it for higher than market value. It led to a huge crash in property crisis and no development during that time. Oliya was sand and I thought that was very prophetic of him at that time. But he'd already had enough money. So yeah, he wasn't leveraged. So he was fine.
He gave up a staggeringly successful career to live a quiet life -- and now he shares his wisdom with us.
