The Importance of Security in Faith Traditions
People with disorganized attachment are more inclined to like altered states of consciousness bordering on disassociation but these can also be labeled mystical spiritual experiences. People that did not have security and then they find security with God is the study's strongest finding. If you have an insecure relationship with your parents you're less likely to stay within your faith tradition, according to research. These big mountaintop experiences might lead them to more often give their testimony but it is not a silver bullet for the rest of their life as Spurgeon would say if I could basically suicide trigger warning.
