Infective Endocarditis - Is There a Randomized Control Trial?

Antithrombotic medications were more effective as preventative agents. Infective endocarditis is too rare to do a prospective randomized control trial. So unsurprisingly, the use of antiplatlets and or anticoagulants isn't currently recommended.
