Myeloprolifritifneoplasm: What to Look for on Examination
The patient's pulse ox is a little bit low, but it's not really significantly low. He pretty much denies everything because he really wants a testosterone. The first step for this would be to check an EPO level. I would want to know is this erythropoietin level elevated or is it low? Right. If it was low, that would mean that these RBCs are being produced without any stimulation and that would make me think more of a primary erythrocytosis like polycythymia virea.
