The deathbed stuff just drives me nuts because, like you said, in our final moments, there's a lot of factors that are weighing into what we say we regret. I think one should anticipate what I think most people will regret in the future, but actually chill out on most stuff and recognize that some regrets are ephemeral. And so anticipating regret is not a perfect decision-making tool.
