A Band Around a Barbell for a Deadlift?
When people are first learning how to hinge, you put a band around the center of the barbell and you pull it away from them. So then they have a vector in which to extend their shoulders against. And subsequently as they do that, lumbar spine gets stabilized by the lats. But if that's a good teaching tool when we're practicing a skill, right, at heavy weights, I wouldn't recommend adding that.
