In England women are almost twice as likely to be diagnosed with anxiety disorders as men. There's been suggestions that it could be to do with levels of male mental illness being lower. By contrast mind have also reported that PTSD is more commonly diagnosed in men. It may be down to the stereotyping that for a lot of people I speak to if I mention PTSD the first thing that comes to mind is Veterans, which is definitely a link 100% But in terms of in this country, that's not the majority of PTSD cases.
