The Importance of Being True to Your Experience

Anita: Our Western church world is definitely designed to work for one or a few languages that are just kind of like the default experiences. And then when you have something that's just a little dissonant, like you can feel like you don't quite belong. Mostly women, it just seems like for whatever reason, they leave the church. That's generally the communities I find online and some, you know, here in South Jersey. They just can't tolerate it.
