The Low Rates of Suicide in the United States

25.5% of Americans 18 to 24 years old said they have seriously considered suicide in the past 30 days, according to a new survey. That's one out of four young Americans who are thinking about taking their own lives. "We need to consider this our primary problem right now," says President Barack Obama.
