Cystatency in AKI
We use cystatency a lot in the outpatient setting maybe for you know, our muscular adolescents or younger adults. We haven't really been using it in patient though. There's the practical issues with using cystatency as an inpatient. But all things being equal, would you want cystatency or something like N-Gal, right? So many times we're thinking about tubular injury and differentiating between hemodynamic causes of AKI.
