I think sometimes if you're having a hard time doing something and thinking about, well, is my why true to myself can be a really helpful thought process? I feel the same actually with exercise where I was growing up, it was taught to be this sort of grind that had to be boring and painful. And now that I have a sort of newfound respect for my own body and I'm able to move my body in exercise because I know it will give me a happier life, right? All the things you said, it will make me less stressed. It makes me more sensitive to experience joy and pleasure and it enables me to sleep better at night and communicate with my children in a calm
