I designed the game with stacking mechanics that were loose enough that I knew that there were holes and those holes could break the game. It's gotten too easy at this point to the point where I'd like to nerf it. If people weren't so rabid about playing this game, I don't think people would have ever cracked a surface on all this stuff. And then there's just logic in the devil deal as well, knowing that you have to spend life to gain life,. but if you know which items give you health when they pick them up, then you can might as well sacrifice all your life depending on how good you are, etc.
