The German Revolution of 19 18

i want to plot the course of the german revolution, but with specific reference to the map that had been laid out by the russians in 19 17. Because the two events unfolded in remarkably similar ways, but there are enough critical distinctions tween the two that they wind up in very different places. So what i want to do here is keep an eye on the course ofThe russian revolution as we talk about the course ofthe german revolution. And compare and contrast the two to understand why one wound up as the communist soviet union, while the other woundup as the parliamentary weimar republic.
