The Convergence of Views About Population Ethics
20 years ago, there was lots of disagreement in the academy about what kind of view about population ethics was correct. And then since then, I want to say that there's been some convergence on which views hold water and which turn out to be confused or really hard to get to work once you just think hard about it. My impression is that discussion around like the original repugnant conclusion, it's now harder to like hold simple plausible sounding ideas.
