The Importance of Player Agency in Game Development

Jason: I think the advantage of not doing that is that we can then present you these older characters but then like as you've both kind of experienced in the game there they feel like such real full people. Yeah, I really want to get into kind of the player agency stuff too because I think that's so relevant here and I think part of it is also just the stakes and your, your impact you can have or lack thereof on the story. Jason: It would be figuring out the stereotypes and leaning into those to kind of push players towards specific like expectations or activities.
