A friend of mine was like why don't you start a newsletter. okay so you leave and then a few weeks later you had your own project can we talk about that please because that's kind of nuts I left. Then I basically woke up and was like where do my recipes go nowlike how are people gonna cook my food? So since I wasn't making money anymore I was like well I'm gonna have to make this a subscription club. People are now gonna have to pay for my recipes but that seems okay because it's a lot of work to develop them. "I couldn't really parse out what part of who I was as a recipe developer slash personality was like most compelling"
