The Difficulty of Cutting Features From Games

I think that not a lot of people in game design talk about the process of cutting features from games. That is a huge part of actually releasing something so I was wondering if you could talk a little bit about what your approach is to making those kinds of decisions. Yes it's definitely difficult to cut things. What's really hard is seeing a lot of like reviews and feedback from journalists like saying that you know this disconnect is here we don't understand why the designer did that but unfortunately due to time constraints it just did not make it in. The hardest feedback to hear actually is that yes I know this this could have been done better but I did not have the manpower resources to make it happen
