Before Dara, Uber's cultural guidelines range from a sober likes of be yourself to the full-on, brotastic maxims like super pumped and always be hustling. It was time for a sweeping change so we crowd sourced actually from our employees. There were some themes that came to the surface. We want to be a different company, but we also celebrate differences and background in where you come from In religion and sexuality, etc. No matter what you bring to the table, you should be able to contribute to what we call Uber.
