The Importance of Mental Training in Endurance Training

Mental training has a huge impact on not only training, but on race day performance. The way you're breathing and the way you're focusing can make your effort much lower than it otherwise would be. So i'm really fascinated about that. Right now with our team here in austen, we're putting them in these sessions where i tell them, we just at a session where we had them do 15 by 800. It's a sotton session, right at race pace, and i said, i want you to doll the inand so that when you get to race day, you can immediately remember the session and break up the 13 miles as if it's just another 800.
