The Impact of the Survey on Compute and Advocacy
i'm curious like how much of this focus on uh compute and advocacy do you think is specifically because these things just happen to align well with theories of victories and intermediate goals that you spelt out. i would guess it's mostly just like the community already like is and was enthusiastic about this um rather than just the salience of that act. And then i think similarly with advocacy stuff i think if we ran the survey now people would probably be more excited about raising awareness of a aji risk at leading labs and in government still i still think this can be bad in a bunch of ways though.
