I would argue that you need good algorithms as well if you just have a lot of search but the problems scale exponentially then you cannot get an exponentially high number of copies of yourself. If you're trying to solve like a travel span problem or something like NP complete then you need to do something smarter than search. Was alpha tensor a big update for you? No it wasn't an update at all because it was a narrow system just a bit better than alpha go but no it wasn't. Like I mean it's a lot of tensor is a thing that does much is multiplication. It doesn't seem like you push towards AGI particularly.
