The Difference Between Cubic and Cubic Curves

Quad to me means four. A quadratic curve is represented by three points and cubic, like I think of three because you take the cube hour of something,. And obviously quadratic must have more information. Cubic has four points. It has two anchor points and then two control points to determine the slope as it leaves each of those anchor points. Quadratics are nice because they are a lot easier to manipulate in code but don't give you enough freedom in terms of design.
