The first part of due diligence is understanding what you need and why. If you're asking for the price to be a million dollars, can you justify it? It's probably an unreasonable ask. The other part ofdue diligence is understand who you're negotiating with. Where are they from? What types of things might they be thinking about going into the negotiation.? How have they done deals in the past? That's always very important.
