Is Alcohol Stimulating Fructose Production?

Some protein containing foods can stimulate fructose production. This is because they generate uric acid, which stimulates the production of fructose. If you had a high protein diet and a low carb diet, you aren't going to be able to convert the glucose to fructose. So even though the uric acid goes up, if you don't have carbs around, you're probably okay with it.
