Would you then switch to a more focused observation on the second, third and fourth one based on what you've seen in the first? Or would it still be this kind of MOT thing where you're just going in and just kind of seeing what happens? No, I think if there were something that I'd isolated as a specific issue, let's say I'm working with a teacher on the quality of their explanation. There's no point in me going to observe when the kids were doing independent practice. If that's what I'm looking for, if there's something that I've identified that we both want to improve, then probably that's the thing that I'll focus on next time around
