For the first like six years of the company, I was the only marketer. We got to a pretty good size just based off blog posts and like one, maybe two blog posts a week. And then we were like, okay, we need to properly set up a marketing team. So I went back and you know leaned on my background and just started doing a lot of research. The average B2B blog expects 1.6 touches per lead. Most people are nowhere near that; it's like less than one touch per week. A media company sends email every day. They're at their greatest, this is an amazing week is like 7.5. Like 7.2.
