A lot of people ask me, so what field should I get into? And I tend to push people towards software. It's because the margins enable companies to pay so well. The money that they charge for it is about 98% margin. So they can pay a large commission for salespeople as opposed to a hardware product or services where the margins aren't as good. Yes, they say they commission you on the whole thing, but they basically cut it in half. That's why it is so lucrative. But there's always got to be some drive. It's an emotion. Just like when someone decides to go forward on a vendor of choice or anything, it is emotional.
